Painted Matt White and Matt Conifer Fitted Kitchen in Cookridge

Date

April 2023

Location

Cookridge

At Horsforth Home Interiors, we take pride in breathing life into our clients' visions, transforming their homes into idyllic spaces that marry style, comfort, and functionality. This philosophy was recently illustrated in a recent kitchen renovation we completed in Cookridge, where a unique mix of painted Monroe doors in Conifer and White added an intriguing dimension to the design.

The kitchen island, constructed in Conifer base units, emerged as the statement piece, bringing in a calming sense of nature, and balancing the crisp white Monroe doors adorning the remaining cabinetry, and the stimulating 30mm thick Arabescato quartz worksurface. Extra tall units were cleverly utilised, providing ample storage without compromising the overall design. The cabinetry was adorned with a fusion of chrome knobs and cups and crystal knobs, creating a compelling contrast and aesthetic.

The sophistication didn't end with the cabinets; brushed steel sockets were strategically placed, alongside built-in EVOline sockets on the island's side for seamless integration of electrical points throughout the kitchen whilst maintaining a contemporary aesthetic. Additionally, innovative lighting solutions brought an inviting warmth to the space. Lights inside the glazed wall units illuminated the beauty of the homeowners' tableware, flush under-unit lights bathed the white, Arabescato worktops in a gentle glow, ceiling downlights provided ample brightness, ensuring that every corner of the kitchen was visibly clear and vibrant, and the customer's own pendant light fitted over the kitchen island added a touch of intimacy and character to the space.

The seamless integration of practicality and style was showcased in the kitchen's centrepiece - a super-wide 1200mm Bertazzoni range double electric oven with six gas burners and an accompanying extractor, both at the peak of modern culinary technology. The use of a fluid corner, in concert with two pull-out baskets, maximised the kitchen's functionality, allowing for convenient access and an efficient use of space.

Meanwhile, the discrete standalone hot tap – the ultimate example of convenience - offers instant boiling water at the press of a lever. A welcome addition for any home gourmet, it simplifies the preparation of meals and allows for an instant brew whenever you need it, no waiting for the kettle to boil.

The final touch was the vinyl LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tiles) flooring, in a warming dark brown Cottage Oak shade, extending throughout the ground floor for a harmonious, open feel. This durable, low-maintenance choice was a testament to creating a space that is as practical as it is beautiful.

From the initial concept to the final walk-through, this project embodied our dedication to quality, creativity, and craftsmanship at Horsforth Home Interiors. A beautiful blend of modern design with a timeless charm, this kitchen renovation is a testament to what can be achieved when style and function come together in perfect harmony.
