Painted Matt Dakar and Matt Porcelain Fitted Kitchen in Meanwood
Date
March 2023
Location
Meanwood
Our customer in Meanwood desired a contemporary, open-concept kitchen and dining space that provided a warm and inviting atmosphere, establishing the kitchen as the heart of their home with ample storage to suit their needs.
Horsforth Home Interiors achieved this vision by incorporating neutral tones into the kitchen design. The customer opted for a striking contrast of Matt Dakar and Matt Porcelain for the units and doors throughout, with the exception of the island, which exclusively used Matt Dakar. This choice truly distinguishes their kitchen from others, gracefully blending modern sophistication with a warm and hospitable ambience. The client selected painted J-Handle doors and white mirror quartz work surfaces for an elevated finish and long-lasting quality.
As part of this project, we needed to open up the area by removing the supporting wall between the old kitchen and dining spaces. and installing a structural steel beam in its place, ultimately providing the customer with their sought-after open layout. The inclusion of an extra-tall wall cupboard and larder, and features such as 150mm wide pull-out storage further facilitate maximum storage in the kitchen area.
The kitchen is finished with an array of brand-new Neff appliances, including a 4-burner gas hob, a Slide and Hide single oven, a combination microwave, a sleek angled extractor hood, and a seamlessly integrated built-under refrigerator – all to elevate the cooking experience to higher levels of ease and delight.
